The International Bank for Economic Co-operation has participated in primary placement of COVID-19 Response bonds of the Polish national development bank Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK). It is one of the oldest European development institutions, founded in 1924.

The International Bank for Economic Co-operation has acquired green Eurobonds from Ceska Sporitelna, the largest bank in the Czech Republic. Securities with maturity of 7 years were issued in the amount of EUR 500 million. The coupon is 0.5%, the yield at the offering price is 0.52%. IBEC participation amounted to EUR 3.5 million.

In July 2021, the International Bank for Economic Co-operation and Mongolian Transport and Development Bank signed a General Agreement on the implementation of trade finance transactions in order to develop partnerships and joint support for export-import operations of Mongolian companies.

The International Bank for Economic Co-operation continues to support trade operations of the SME sector in its member countries. The bank has supported a loan deal between the Mongolian Golomt Bank
and the Russian Moscow Credit Bank (MKB). Golomt Bank, one of the leaders in the Mongolian banking sector and a traditional partner of IBEC, raised funds from MKB to finance the trade operations of its clients including small and medium-sized enterprises.
