The International Bank for Economic Co-operation has provided a trade related loan in the amount of EUR 982 thousand for a period of 6 months to the First Investment Bank JSC (Russia).

On March 10-11, 2022, a meeting of the Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the Republics of Slovakia and Kazakhstan, organized by the Ministry of Economy of Slovakia and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, was held in Bratislava. Representatives of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation, headed by Member of the Board – Head of the Business Unit – Peter Osvald have taken part in the work of the Commission via videoconference.

The International Bank for Economic Co-operation participated in an international syndicated credit facility in favor of the Vietnamese financial company VNDIRECT Securities Corporation. The total volume of the syndicated loan amounted to USD 100 million up to 1 year tenor, the share of IBEC was USD 15 million. Ten banks from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Europe took part in the deal, with Cathay United Bank from Taiwan acting as sole Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner (MLAB).

The International Bank for Economic Co-operation and the Russian Expobank implemented another deal financing import-export operations. The total amount of the IBEC loan was EUR 5 million with a financing period of up to 6 months.
