The delegation of the International Fund for Technological Development (a joint project of IBEC and the Government of the Russian Federation) took part in the Business Reception on the 15th anniversary of the largest Russian Special Economic Zone (SEZ) "Dubna". Dubna is one of the leading Russian science cities, and its geographical location predetermined the science-intensive and high-tech profile of the SEZ. IBES is actively developing cooperation with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), the city-forming scientific association of Dubna, the director of which, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Grigory Trubnikov, made a welcoming speech at the opening of the event. The IFTD will become another tool for the commercialization of advanced scientific developments and the introduction of new technologies, which, in particular, was the subject of recent negotiations between the leaders of JINR and IBEC.
As part of the Business Reception, a Roadmap on cooperation between the Fund and the Dubna SEZ was signed. Director of the IFTD Vadim Kulikov presented to the participants of the Business Reception the possibilities of the Fund and the terms of cooperation, noted the advantages that the Fund provides to Russian export-oriented projects. Mr. Kulikov, whose report aroused great interest and attention of the participants of the event, was presented with the sign "Partner of the SEZ Dubna", symbolizing the beginning of cooperation between the IFTD and the advanced scientific and technological cluster of the Moscow region.
