On 30 October 2018 International Bank for Economic Cooperation provided Russia’s State Transport Leasing Company with USD 22,7 mln loan for a period of 5 years. The STLC will use the loan from the IBEC to finance purchase of equipment for the first two stages of Lavna coal transshipment complex in the Murmansk sea port construction.

On 24–26 October, the IBEC delegation attended the annual conference of the National Bank of Poland, participated in the 1st Export Forum and held a number of meetings with Polish banks and potential clients.

On 19 October 2018 the Steering Committee Meeting of the Pilot Financial Initiative (PFI) of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) for the first time took place in the premises of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation.

On 15-16 October 2018 D. Ivanov, IBEC Chairman of the Board, participated in the events of the 37th conference of the Banking Association of Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) that took place in Budapest, Hungary. IBEC supported this annual financial event as a «silver» sponsor.
