  • IBEC provided a loan to the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) in the amount of USD 22.7 million for a period of 5 years for the purchase of equipment for the implementation of stages I and II of the construction of the Lavna coal transshipment complex in the Murmansk seaport. The development of port infrastructure in Murmansk will significantly increase the volume of coal exports. The project involves the construction of a modern port complex using the latest equipment with a capacity of 18 million tons per year, as well as the construction of non-public access railway lines from the Lavna station to the port complex with a length of 2.3 km. Equipment within the framework of the project is purchased from the largest manufacturing plant Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG, Germany.

On 30 October 2018 International Bank for Economic Cooperation provided Russia’s State Transport Leasing Company with USD 22,7 mln loan for a period of 5 years. The STLC will use the loan from the IBEC to finance purchase of equipment for the first two stages of Lavna coal transshipment complex in the Murmansk sea port construction.
