International Bank for Economic Co-operation participates in implementation of NICA, a unique international scientific project at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. NICA (Nuclotron based Ion Collider fAcility) is a new accelerator complex designed at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia) for the purpose of studying properties of dense baryonic matter.

International Bank for Economic Co-operation implemented the first transaction under the General Agreement on Financing with the Belarusky Narodny Bank (BNB-Bank). The funds were used to implement foreign trade contracts between a Polish supplier and a Belarusian leasing company.
