Denis Ivanov, Chairman of the Board of International Bank for Economic Co-operation, took part in the round table discussion “On the role of development institutions in the context of global financial uncertainty”. The event was held under the auspices of the IBEC’s historical partner, International Investment Bank (IIB), and was attended by representatives of international and national development institutions, the diplomatic corps, Russian ministries and departments, expert community, and media. The meeting was opened by Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation, head of the Russian delegation to the IBEC Council, Sergey Storchak. In his speech, he focused on increasing uncertainty in the global financial system and the institutional mechanisms for its reduction.

The Chairman of the Board of International Bank for Economic Co-operation, Denis Ivanov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation, Mr. Dulamsuren Davaa. From the Mongolian side, the negotiations were also attended by the Adviser-envoy Damdingiyn Galsandondog and the Adviser, Head of Trade and Economic Department of the Embassy, Delgertsetseg Unubilegt.

International Bank for Economic Co-operation acted as a partner in the export program for the export of Polish pharmaceutical products. IBEC confirmed the standby letter of credit issued by Alfa-Bank CJSC, Belarus. The beneficiary of the transaction is the largest Polish company operating in the pharmaceutical field.

International Bank for Economic Co-operation is actively developing business in the Asian region. The bank has already implemented the second deal since the beginning of the year with the Vietnamese Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB).
