Chairman of the IBEC Board Denis Ivanov became a member of the Business Council of the Financial and Banking Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC). The unanimous election took place at the FBA EAC General Meeting, where Mr. Ivanov participated.
The Association was established in 2013 as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and, since then, it brought together more than 70 organizations, mainly financial and banking, from 25 countries belonging to the European Union, CIS, BRICS, and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC). The primary goal of the Association is to assist its members in creating favorable conditions for their effective activities in the Eurasian space. FBA EAC sphere of interests include small and medium-sized businesses, commercial banks, public-private partnerships.
According to Denis Ivanov, “participation in the work of the Association, goals, objectives and geographical orientation of which are correspondent with the IBEC mandate, will give the Bank new effective opportunities to promote its products and services, and will facilitate new business contacts.”
