Memorandum of Cooperation between IBEC and the Council of Slovak Exporters

The International Bank for Economic Co-operation and the Council of Slovak Exporters signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document was signed by the Chairman of the IBEC Board Denis Ivanov and the Chairman of the Council of Slovak Exporters Lukas Parizek.

The Memorandum provides for joint activities to develop trade and economic ties between the IBEC member countries, supporting activities of Slovakian small and medium-sized enterprises on foreign markets, establishing bilateral and multilateral relations with business associations in the IBEC member countries, assistance in promoting investment projects of the Council members and support for their foreign economic activity.

As the Chairman of the IBEC Board Denis Ivanov said: “IBEC offers a wide range of banking products to support trade finance for corporate, medium and small businesses. In the status of an international organization, IBEC helps its clients to guarantee export risks mitigation both in the Bank’s member states and in other countries where its clients are engaged in active foreign economic activity".

“It is extremely important for Slovak companies to have access to the widest possible range of banking products when financing their exports. Therefore, we are happy to establish partnerships with organizations such as IBEC”, – said Lukas Parizek.

Active collaboration with national business unions and associations in its member countries is one of the important tools for IBEC product offering. Such contacts allow the Bank to consider country and national specifics and adapt services to individual customer requests.
