On 11 September 2017, a meeting of the IBEC’s official delegation headed by Ms. Irina Golovchenko, Board Chairman of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation, with the delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, was held in the headquarters of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation (IBEC) in Moscow.

On 8 September 2017, in Ho Chi Minh City the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Vietnamese Commission on Trade-and-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation was held under the chairmanship of Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and Trinh Dinh Dung, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On 22-23 August 2017, the delegation of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation (IBEC) headed by Ms. Thinh Thi Hong, Board Member, took part in the 15th meeting of the Working Group on Interbank Cooperation of the Intergovernmental Russian-Vietnamese Commission on Trade-and-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation held on the Phu Quoc island (Socialist Republic of Vietnam). As a part of the meeting, the Agreement on Comprehensive Cooperation was signed between the IBEC and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

From 13 August to 16 August 2017, the delegation of the International Bank for Economic Co-Operation (IBEC) visited the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana, where 115 exhibiting countries demonstrated their achievements and prospects in the use of renewable energy sources.
