The IBEC Wins the International Financial Award

Within the framework of the IV Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum “Eurasian Union and the EU: New Opportunities of Economic Cooperation”, which was held from 30 November to 1 December 2017 in Moscow, the International Bank for Economic Co-Operation (IBEC) won gold in nomination “Standard of reliability” of the international award “FINANCIAL AND BANKING ELITE OF EURASIA”, as a leader in terms of the indicators of sustainability of activities and robustness of positions in the Eurasian financial area.

The Forum was organised by the Financial & Banking Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation and the International Economic Senate (Germany) with the support of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Eurasian Economic Commission.

As a part of the formal opening of the Forum, a plenary meeting was held, where the topical economic aspects of Eurasian integration, as well as the opportunities and specifics of doing business in the markets of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for European companies were discussed. At this meeting, the speakers were Ms. Irina Golovchenko, IBEC’s Chairman, Mr. Konstantinos Dedes, Vice President of the Greek Eurasian Business Council (Greece), and Ms. Tanja Galander, Head of Russian Business Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (Germany).

The Forum was also attended by representatives of financial associations and organisations, heads of industry associations of business, top managers of the leading Russian and foreign companies, international experts in finance and economics, representatives of banking, customs-logistic and insurance community, investment and commercial structures from over 20 countries being members of the EAEU and the EU.
