The CCI of Russia and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce demonstrated the investment potential of Bulgaria

On November 18, the presentation of the investment potential of Bulgaria, organized by the CCI of Russia and the Bulgarian CCI took place online.

Chairman of the Bulgarian CCI Tsvetan Simeonov, Vice-President of the CCI of Russia Vladimir Padalko, Bulgarian Ambassador to Moscow Atanas Krystin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bulgaria Konstantin Artyushin, Chairman of the Board of the International Bank for Economic Cooperation Denis Ivanov greeted the participants of the presentation.

In his welcoming speech, Vladimir Padalko noted that regional CCIs and affiliates from more than 20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation are taking part in the presentation. The increased attention of the regions once again underlines the high interest of Russian colleagues in the development of relations with Bulgaria.

Yulian Balchev, representative of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, made a keynote speech on the investment climate in Bulgaria and opportunities for investors. During his presentation, he informed about the possibilities of investment cooperation, the state program to support investors, sectors of the economy with investment potential.

Chairman of the Investment Council of the Bulgarian CCI Vladimir Tomov spoke about the activities, focusing on two projects supported by the council - a regional logistics and industrial center and a project for the production of innovative mobile autonomous power generators.

 

The event also included presentations by the International Bank for Economic Cooperation and Morningside Hill Capital Management.

Summing up the results of the event, Vladimir Padalko expressed hope that the specialized councils of the two chambers will continue to hold such events on a regular basis with the involvement of regional CCIs.
