The 125th meeting of the supreme management body of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation - the IBEC’s Council was held in Moscow on 9 June 2015.
The meeting of the IBEC’s Council was attended by delegations of all Bank’s member countries, representatives of the Czech Republic chaired the meeting in the order of precedence. The delegation of the Bank’s country of residence was headed by S.A. Storchak, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
At this meeting, the IBEC’s Council approved the Board’s Report of the IBEC’s 2014 Performance, the Bank’s balance sheet as of 31 December 2014 and IBEC’s 2014 profit of EUR 8.8 mln.
The major decision passed at the meeting of the Bank’s Council was to develop new “Strategy of Bank’s Resumption and Development” with regard to economic development priorities of IBEC’s member countries, their market opportunities and demands, on which the Bank intends to focus based on the objectives set out in its constitutional documents. New “Strategy of Bank’s Resumption and Development” shall be developed on a tight schedule in close collaboration of the IBEC’s Board with Bank’s member countries.
The said strategy will enable the Bank to fulfill, to the fullest extent, the objectives set out in its constitutional documents, which are to promote economic cooperation of Bank’s member countries in realities of the modern world.
