On 12 September 2017, the International Bank for Economic Co-Operation (IBEC) and the Polish-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed the Memorandum on Cooperation.
On behalf of the International Bank of Economic Co-operation the document was signed by Ms. Irina Golovchenko, Board Chairman, and Ms. Lidia Anczakowska, Board Member, and on behalf of the Polish-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – by Ms. Hanna Velgosh, Chamber President.
The Memorandum is aimed to establish long-term partnership relations in the development of foreign trade ties between economic entities of the Republic of Poland and economic entities of the IBEC’s member countries, where a special priority will be given to creation and introduction of innovations, development of transport infrastructure, power engineering, industry, agriculture and public health. The parties agreed to promote the development of the projects related to renewable “green” energy, and the liaison with the customers conducting their business in this field. The Memorandum also enshrines the intention of the parties to promote the attraction of investments in the economies of the IBEC’s member countries, including the Republic of Poland and the Russian Federation.
Ms. Irina Golovchenko, IBEC’s Board Chairman, expressed the hope that the signature of the Memorandum will promote the development of cooperation with the representatives of the Polish companies interested in implementation of business activity in the territory of the IBEC’s member countries.
Ms. Hanna Velgosh, President of the Polish-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, gave an assurance that the Chamber will render multifaceted assistance to establishment of partnership relations with the Polish enterprises and organisations in order to increase the number of joint projects.
