On 25 – 26 April 2018 Mr.Denis Ivanov, Chairman of the IBEC Management Board and Mr.Jan Jursa, member of the IBEC Board, participated in the 2nd International Financial and Economic Forum of the CIS and European countries ‘Prague Business Meetings’. Besides, the IBEC’s delegation held a number of meetings with the Czech ministries’ and governmental bodies’ top officials as well as with high-ranking representatives of the Czech business community, namely, CEB (Czech Export Bank), Czech Banking Association, EGAP Export Credit Agency.
During the meeting with the government officials the Czech delegation steered by Lenka Dupakova, Head of the Czech delegation to the IBEC’s Council, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic, expressed a deep interest in the newly nominated IBEC Chairman’s of the Board plans for further development of the Bank and followed his presentation with several clarifying questions. The parties also touched on issues related to the forthcoming 131st IBEC Council meeting to be held in Bratislava.
The visit to the Czech Republic and the fruitful discussions on an outlook for the Czech business community’s cooperation with the IBEC became another important event in a series of initial working visits of the newly nominated Chairman of the IBEC Board to the Bank’s member states.
