On 12 September, 2018 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Moscow hosted the EuroReception, a joint event organised by the Polish Embassy in Moscow, the Polish Business Club in Russia and the Association of European Businesses (AEB).
The International Bank for Economic Co-operation (IBEC) acted as a partner of the EuroReception at the Polish Embassy in Moscow, taking an active part in the event.
The agenda of the business meeting included a number of key issues relating to trade and economic co-operation between companies from European countries, primarily the Republic of Poland, and Russian partners. The EuroReception was attended by representatives of the Polish Embassy in Moscow, European trade offices, member companies of the Polish Business Club and the AEB as well as Russian business people. The IBEC was represented by Board Member Ms.Lidia Anchakovska and Deputy Director of Customers’ Department Mr.Zbignev Ekert.
The event enabled participants to establish new business contacts and strengthen the existing partnerships.
Acting as a partner of the EuroReception, the IBEC reiterated the importance of its co-operation with the Republic of Poland for the Bank’s business development efforts and the establishment of all-round international ties.
The Association of European Businesses (AEB) is the key representative office for foreign investors in Russia.
Founded in 1995, the AEB is an independent non-profit organisation with over 500 member companies that have operations in Russia. The AEB includes both major transnational corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises from countries across the European Union, the European Free Trade Association and other regions of the world. Member companies are committed to strengthening economic ties between the EU and Russia and improving Russia's investment climate.
