IBEC and the Government of the Republic of Bashkorto­stan signed the Memo­randum on cooperation in reconst­ruction of the International Ufa Airport

On June 1, 2017, as a part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017 the Memorandum on Cooperation in the implementation of the project “Reconstruction of the domestic air lines air-terminal complex of JSC Ufa International Airport” was signed between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the International Bank for Economic Co-Operation (IBEC).

Ms. Irina Golovchenko, Chairman of the IBEC’s Board, and Mr. Rustem Mardanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, affixed their signatures to the document.

The International Bank for Economic Co-operation (IBEC) has previously become a winner of the request for proposal of JSC Ufa International Airport for raising a non-revolving loan facility with a limit of RUB 1 bln. for a period of 10 years.

Funds are raised for financing of the first stage of reconstruction of the domestic air lines air-terminal complex, since, as noted by Mr. Rustem Mardanov, there is a need to reconstruct the domestic air lines terminal subsequent to a new international terminal that was built for the SCO and BRICS summits.
