IBEC Attends Business Meeting at the Polish Embassy in Moscow

On 7 June 2018 a delegation of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation (IBEC) headed by L. Anczakowska, IBEC Board member, participated in a multinational business meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Moscow. The event was instigated by Polish Business Club under the auspices of Economic Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.

A. Janeczek, President of Polish Business Club in Russia, pointed out that the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and Polish Business Club had become a traditional platform for establishment and development of relations between Polish and Russian business. By now this relationship had become international and relations had already been established with representatives of Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Lithuanian and Canadian business who also participated in the business meeting.

The official part of the event was devoted to a presentation of Russian regions’ investment potential. Investment opportunities were demonstrated by Association of Russia’s Industrial Parks, Yaroslavl Region, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) ‘Moglino’ (City of Pskov) and Pskov Region, Ulyanovsk Region, SEZ ‘Uzlovaya’ (City of Tula). Association of Industrial Parks unites most of Russia’s industrial parks as well as industrial construction suppliers, both with Russian and foreign capital, for the purpose of mutual interests’ promotion. The Association is an entry point and conductor throughout Russia for investors from different counties, who plan to localize production.

During b2b networking of the business meeting the IBEC’s delegation conducted negotiations with A. Janeczek, President of Polish Business Club; M. Pazdnikov, Co-chairman of the Board, Association of Russia’s Industrial Parks; Š. Jílek, Head of CzechTrade Moscow Representative Office as well as with representatives of Russian regions, Polish and Russian business. During the talks various projects and possible ways of co-operation were discussed.
