On 10 May 2018 the International Bank for Economic Co-operation headquarters hosted a meeting of the Bank's Board with A. Tyupanov, Chairman of the Management Board – CEO, Joint-stock Company ‘Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance’ (EXIAR) and A. Belyaeva, EXIAR Managing Director for International Development.
During the meeting D. Ivanov, IBEC’s Board Chairman, presented the Bank, its priorities under the IBEC Development Strategy as well as described multifaceted cooperation opportunities between the Bank and EXIAR. А. Tyupanov congratulated D. Ivanov on his appointment to the position and presented several Agency’s products of a potential interest for the Bank as well as dwelled on EXIAR’s risk management approach and EXIAR capabilities.
Besides, the following topics were covered at the meeting: potential Bank’s projects with exporters under the current review by EXIAR, issues of support for Russian goods and services export to IBEC member countries and other states as well as EXIAR cooperation with export credit agencies in IBEC member countries.
As the outcome the parties agreed to closely cooperate in the search and development of promising joint projects in the development of IBEC member countries’ export potential within the Bank’s mission and strategic goals.
