Representatives of the International Bank for Economic Co-operation headed by I.V. Golovchenko, Chairman of the Board, visited Mongolia from 21 to 23 October 2015.
Within the framework of the working visit, a meeting was held with Mr. N.Zoljargal, Chairman of the Bank of Mongolia, during which I.V. Golovchenko has informed of measures taken in the Bank to improve its efficiency, the purpose of which is to extend economic cooperation with the IBEC member states. The IBEC Delegation extended its gratitude to the Chairman of the Bank of Mongolia for constructive approach and support in solution of the tasks that face the Bank.
The IBEC representatives also held a working meeting with Mr. N. Munkhbat, CEO of the Development Bank of Mongolia. The parties discussed the opportunities for extending cooperation.
Negotiations also took place with the management of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The IBEC Delegation and Mongolian colleagues discussed the Bank’s role in the development of business relations and trade between the countries, as well as the proposed areas of cooperation.
Furthermore, meetings and negotiations were held with a number of the largest Mongolian partner banks - Trade & Development Bank, Golomt Bank, Khan Bank и Capital Bank, as well as with the largest cashmere production company Gobi.
